Metal Fabrication Company Expands to New Premises

Media release 10 May 2007, FabTek Industries, Christchurch, New Zealand: Christchurch sheetmetal fabrication company FabTek Industries has opened new premises in Hazeldean Road, Christchurch.

Owner and managing director Bevan Templeton says the expansion is in response to the need to extend their services to existing clients and also provide the opportunity for new business to walk in the door.

"We have been successfully operating in smaller premises, but decided it was time to step up and broaden our client base," Templeton said.

The company offers a range of metal working services to its clients, and prides itself on a high level of customer service and the ability to assist smaller companies and entrepreneurs to turn product ideas into working prototypes in one off or small production runs.

"Many of our competitors are not interested in the small run work, but we encourage clients who have a specific requirement to come and see us. We can assist them to develop a design through to working drawings, or simply manufacture to their existing design specifications."

FabTek recently completed custom design and production for clients East Coast Engineering - a detachable tow hitch, and Ezi-Vu Video who required custom made computer kiosks to allow customers to preview DVD movies before hiring them.

FabTek welcomes enquiry from clients with any metalworking requirements and works in conjunction with other companies to provide a comprehensive range of services.
